ZeonorFilm® is a plastic film produced by sheet extrusion using ZEONOR® specialty plastics. It offers glass-like transparency and has the highest light transmittance among plastics across the ultraviolet to infrared regions. With low water absorption, minimal moisture permeability, and high heat resistance, ZeonorFilm® is often seen as the plastic most similar to glass. What's more, Zeon's proprietary precision processing technology ensures outstanding optical stability, making it suitable for a broad range of applications, including the peripheral components of displays, glass substitutes, transparent antenna substrates, and FPC substrates.
High light transmittance across a wide range of wavelengths, from ultraviolet to infrared.
Low Water Absorption and Low Moisture Permeability
ZeonorFilm® shows the same low water absorbency and low moisture permeability properties of its raw material ZEONOR®. These effectively stabilize the optical, dimensional, dielectric, and other electrical properties under high-humidity conditions.
High Heat Resistance
High glass transition temperature (Tg) ensures excellent durability at high temperatures.
Low Dielectric Constant
Low dielectric constant and low dialectic tangent minimize transmission loss and prevent deterioration when transmitting electric signals.
